Tutoring

One-to-one Environment

The student's session is conducted with two simultaneous goals in mind: to learn the material as well as to develop one's self. The process is individualized depending on the student's profile.

Homework Assistance

As work is completed, cognitive gaps are recognized and addressed. Study aids are suggested and put into practice. Study skills include binder organization, time management, memory techniques, and data acquisition strategies.

Subject-Specific Tutoring

Course curricula are addressed that meet the learning needs of the student.

Test-Taking Skills

Test-taking preparation techniques to facilitate memory are taught as well as those skills that are needed to complete tests efficiently. Test anxiety-reduction is practiced.
